Reel Chill loves family charters and working with anglers of all ages and skill levels! We provide a safe, positive experience for experienced anglers and novices alike.
On our family charters your group will fish the nearshore and offshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico with the industry’s finest, expert fishing guides and seasoned Captains. On Reel Chill’s Family-Friendly Bottom Fishing and Trolling Charters, you’ll depart Destin, Florida aboard the safe and comfotable “Reel Chill”, a beautiful 52-foot luxury Hatteras Convertible Sportfisher.
We’ll employ a combination of techniques on your charter including both high-speed trolling and bottom fishing. We’ll troll about a half hour to your first bottom-fishing location before dropping lines to fish for species such as snapper & grouper.
We’ll often fish multiple locations on your charter (typically 3 different bottom spots on an 8-hour charter) and troll between locations – giving you the best chance of catching a variety of fish!

We booked three charters, during two separate trips to Destin. Captain Troy, Suzanne and Marcus are amazing & absolutely wonderful people in my opinion.
The boat has great accommodations, it’s roomy, comfortable & super clean. Captain Troy & Suzanne and Marcus are so knowledgeable & personable …totally awesome group! Marcus has the patience of a saint …. trust me, he fixed my reel more than once on my first day out…. gave me a bucket and a blanket on my second , when the sea didn’t agree & then the third time was a charm. Btw , we were traveling with a 6 yr old & she loved every minute of the day & considers all her bff’s. The fishing was great , we killed it!
