What time do we meet?

Arrival & departure times will vary depending on the length of charter and our goals for your trip.

Your Captain will speak with you directly prior to your trip to coordinate meeting time, location and what your goals are for your fishing experience.

What happens if we have to cancel?

We understand that things happen!

So, in the event that you need to cancel your fishing charter with us, we ask that you provide us with 72 hours notice of cancellation and we will provide a full refund.

What if it rains or there's bad weather?

We fish rain or shine, however we want everyone to be safe.

Although it rains nearly of the Summer every day in Florida, we have sophisticated radar and forecasts to avoid showers and storms offshore

In the event that your Captain chooses to call off your fishing charter due to poor weather or other conditions which might make your trip unsafe, we’ll do our best to reschedule your charter.

If for travel or other reasons you are unable to reschedule with us, we’ll provide a 100% refund for any amounts previously paid.

Where do we meet for our charter?

On the day of your charter, you’ll meet us directly at the boat:

What can we expect to catch on our charter?

Depending on the type of charter you book with us, you’ll have opportunities at catching the following species:

Wahoo
Mahi-Mahi
Grouper
Sharks
Snapper
Tuna
and more!

Can we keep the fish we catch?

Yes, however keeping different fish species may be seasonal – so ask your Captain which fish can be kept at the time of your charter.

Your Captain will clean & bag your fish and even recommend restaurants that will cook your fresh catch for you!

We recommend bringing a cooler, that you leave in the car, to transport your catch home with you.

Where do we park when we come to the dock?

You can pull into the marina to drop passengers and gear for a maximum of 30 minutes at no charge. The marina charges a small parking fee, which may be paid using your smartphone.

Optionally, there is less expensive, paid parking directly across the street from the marina – provided by the City of Destin.

Are we allowed to tip the Captain?

Absolutely! Your Captain and Crew work extremely hard to provide our guests with the best fishing experiences possible.

Customarily, gratuities for a Captain and Crew are 20%+ of the cost of your charter.

Do we need fishing licenses?

Nope!

Your Charter has all of the licenses and permits you’ll need for your fishing charter and are included for your trip.

Can we bring alcohol on a fishing charter?

Yes. We even supply an iced-down cooler to keep your drinks chilly!

We just ask that you drink responsibly and leave the glass containers at home.

What kind of boat will we be going out in?

You’ll be fishing from the “Reel Chill”, a luxury 52′ Hatteras Convertible Sportfisher.

The Vessel includes:

A bedroom, 2 bathrooms with showers
Full kitchen and Galley with comfortable couches & television
Air Conditioning
Luxury features to make you feel at home

How many people can go on a charter?

Maximum number of guests is 6 (plus your Captain & Crew).

What if we would like to go longer?

Of course!

If you’re on a charter with us and would like to extend your trip…we’ll be happy to accommodate as long as our booking calendar allows.

Captain Troy, Suzanne, and Heather were absolutely amazing taking us out on the boat! It was my Fiancé’s and I’s first fishing charter and we will definitely be back! I learned even more about fishing! We caught so many fish and had a blast! The deckhand Marcus was super sweet and made sure we had a great time and stayed catching fish. It was the best day ever!
